There is a very interesting model called "activity system" developed by Engeström (http://www.edu.helsinki.fi/activity/pages/chatanddwr/activitysystem/) to facilitate our understanding of social activity. For those who are concerned with becoming or training "actors of change" or policymakers this is an extremely helpful model to understand the complexity of social activities in which we participate.
Due to the dynamic (dialectic) nature of an "activity system" it would be nice to have a flash animation illustrating /building the model with a concrete example.
